The Teddy Bear Hospital is returning to Australia Fair these September school holidays!

Bring your favourite furry friend along for some much-neededTLC and step into the world of our Teddy Bear Hospital, where little doctorscan help get their cuddly patients back to tip-top shape.

What is the Teddy Bear Hospital?

Gold Coast Hospital Foundation Volunteers works in withAustralia Fair to create a space for kids to reassure them that hospital is notso scary in a fun and safe way.

How it works:

There are two ways to get involved. Kids canbring their own teddy from home for a check-up and repairs with our friendlyTeddy Doctors (volunteers from the GCUH) or welcome a brand-new furry friend bystuffing and decorating their very own teddy to take home for an $8 purchase. Proceedsfrom every teddy purchase will be donated to the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation, helping ensure our local health teams have immediate access to the vital medical equipment, services and support they need when it matters most.

Your Teddy’s Hospital Visit

DATES: Monday 21 – Friday 25 September

WORKSHOP TIMES: 10am, 11am & 12 noon daily

LOCATION: Ground Floor, outside Coles

COST: $8 donation

About the Teddy Bear Hospital

This is a unique program for children. Establishedin 2009 at Australia Fair, it is run by volunteers from Gold Coast Hospital Foundation. This year’s annual check-up marks its 9th event at Australia Fair.
